Introduction of Lely Hibiscus 1015 Profi: the
largest twin rotor rake
|
|
By introducing the twin rotor rake Hibiscus 1015
Profi, Lely have responded to the increasing demand for a central
delivery rake with a high output in silage and hay as well as
straw. The new Hibiscus rake incorporates the largest rotor in
today's market place allowing a maximum surface of grass to be
deposited in a central swath. The machine's twin rotors lay down a
perfectly shaped swath, which clearly has a positive effect not
only on the quality of the raked product, but also on the capacity
of the rake itself and the following harvesting
machine.

It is clear that, due to the special wheel
assembly underneath the rotors - with eight wheels per rotor
gauging the ground - a higher working speed can be achieved than
would be possible for traditional rakes. The unique 3 D suspension
features a pivoting head providing a 360 degrees freedom of
movement to the rotor thus ensuring careful following of ground
contours. Also thanks to this feature, the capacity of the Hibiscus
1015 Profi is even more impressive than you might assume when only
going by the machine's working width of more than 10 meters. The
Hibiscus 1015 Profi combines the maneuverability of a twin rotor
rake with a large working width as well as a high capacity, making
this the ultimate high performance machine. Tests have shown that
this rake is capable of attaining an output of 15 ha/hr.

In addition, Lely have met customer requirements
by equipping the machine with simple and user-friendly controls as
well as a rugged mechanical drive system.
Due to the hydraulic brakes on the large transport wheels, the
machine can be transported safely both in the field and on the
road, also at high speeds.
