In 2008 Lely celebrated its 60 year anniversary under the theme “Lely 60 years of innovations – Go for the future”

Alexander van der Lely,( below ) CEO, summarized this as follows: “1948 seems so long ago and 2048 still so far away! Yet, we are already occupying ourselves with the future, for it has started today. With a positive attitude and the energy to do what is needed. Those are precisely the starting points of my father and uncle back in 1948 and this has remained in the company’s DNA until today. Offering a future to the agricultural industry; with an open eye for the world and focus on a better future.”
